F.A.M.A. wants to set up a real INTERNATIONAL PROGRAM OF ARTIST EXCHANGE BETWEEN GALLERIES.
Our goal is to give to the artist of each gallery the opportunity to have an exhibit in another country. And in return, the gallery will received international artists. By this way the activity of the gallery will be boosted, by offering ever more original and varied exhibits!
EVERY GALLERY CAN ALWAYS SURPRISE THEIR REGULAR VISITORS, WHO WILL LOOK FORWARD COMING TO SEE THE NEW SHOWS!
And at the same time it will help their artist to gain an international exposure.
Of course, every gallery owners are free to choose the artists they want to receive.
And also, each gallery affiliated to this free program, can organize exchange with as many other galleries as they want.
It's easy :
A gallery put an add (start a topic) in the category FREE INTERNATIONAL GALLERY EXCHANGE PROGRAM, to indicate to other galleries that some of its artists are interested in this program, including their name and some pictures of their work.
By this way, other galleries can pick up the artists they like and propose some exchanges with their own artists.
The EXCHANGE HAS TO BE TOTALLY FREE, it's a mutual aid! Because, of course, each gallery will take fees on the sale of this new artist's artwork
(IMPORTANT : the fees should be the same than for the permanent members of the gallery, to avoid any kind of discrimination).
Even if it's more interesting for the artists to be present at their shows, it's not required. Especially because international travels are very expensive. So it's possible to organize the shipment of their artworks with the gallery partner.
But that's not all : The galleries can also use an international free webcam system like SKYPE, or MSN, to allow the artists to be "virtually" present at their exhibit, and answer to the questions of the visitors, live, from their computer. It's free and what is needed is only a computer and internet!
And of course, EVERY GALLERY IS WELCOME TO PARTICIPATE TO THIS PROGRAM!
